Overview
A Joystick Controller is a crucial control equipment used in EOT cranes, overhead cranes, gantry cranes, and other material handling systems. It allows the operator to precisely control crane movements such as hoisting, lowering, cross travel, and long travel through simple hand movements.
The joystick provides accurate and responsive control, ensuring smooth operation, higher safety, and reduced operator fatigue. It’s an essential part of modern crane control systems, designed for reliable performance in demanding industrial environments.

Key Features

-
Custom Options – Available in single or double-speed configurations depending on the application.
How It Works
The Joystick Controller functions as a manual control device that sends electrical signals to the crane’s motor control circuits:
-
The operator moves the joystick lever in different directions such as up, down, left, or right.
-
Each direction corresponds to a particular crane motion like lifting, lowering, forward, or reverse.
-
When the handle is moved, it activates micro switches or contact blocks, which in turn control the power supply to the crane’s motors.
-
The joystick returns to its neutral position automatically when released, ensuring operational safety and control precision.
This allows the operator to handle heavy loads with maximum accuracy and minimum effort.
