Overview

An Electro Hydraulic Thruster is a high-performance device used to create linear motion by converting electrical energy into hydraulic pressure. It is an essential part of crane braking systems, material handling equipment, and industrial machinery, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of brakes and mechanical movements.

Key Features

  • Smooth Operation: Provides gradual and shock-free movement for controlled braking.
  • High Reliability: Built with heavy-duty components for long operational life.
  • Fail-Safe Design: Automatically applies the brake in case of power failure.
  • Temperature Resistant: Designed to perform efficiently in varying industrial environments.
  • Easy Maintenance: Simple structure with minimal wear and tear parts.

How It Works

The thruster consists of an electric motorhydraulic cylinder, and piston-rod assembly.
When electrical power is applied, the motor drives an impeller that builds hydraulic pressure inside the cylinder. This hydraulic pressure pushes the piston upward, which in turn releases or applies the brake depending on the configuration.
Once the power supply is cut off, the piston returns to its original position with the help of a spring-loaded mechanism, ensuring quick and safe braking action.
